Victoria College of Art - Newest Centre of Excellence
Vancouver Island is a temperate rain forest larger than Wales, located 38 kilometers across the Salish Sea from the city of Vancouver and almost as close to Seattle on the US mainland. It is the site of British Columbia's capital city, Victoria, one of the oldest cities in the Pacific Northwest.
This lush island is also home to the Victoria College of Art, which has been a creative incubator for more than 6,000 artists over its nearly forty-five-year history. Today VCA is training and inspiring artists to participate in the region's booming digital arts and entertainment economy. Toon Boom recently recognized the school as a Centre of Excellence, noting the depth and quality of its Animation curriculum.
Congratulations to the faculty and students at the Victoria College of Art! See details here.
